A CLIENT EXPERIENCE
When Timewise came together to Cook & Connect
As a co-founder of both Cook for Good and Timewise, Karen asked her Timewise team to give Cook & Connect a test run with Robinne before launching it to everyone else. Here’s her summary of how it went:
The team: 14 members of the Timewise staff plus family members ranging from aged 2 to 20. All in our own kitchens, prepped and ready to go.
The menu: Chicken shwarma with Israeli salad and tahini sauce.
The process: A two-hour interactive Zoom class, led by Robinne. She took us through the recipe, step by step, taking time to explain what she was doing and why. She also taught us some of her secret chef’s tricks, and answered all our questions (some sensible, some not so sensible) with a straight face.
The outcome: Everyone who took part had a meal ready for their family’s dinner, picked up some new cooking skills and got to catch up with their colleagues. Our Whats’App group was flooded with photos of our families tucking in enjoying the food that evening.
The feedback: Everyone loved both the experience of cooking together and the meal itself. Here are some of the comments I received afterwards:
