Our cooking-based teambuilding events are popular with organisations of all shapes and sizes, who share our purpose, love the idea of cooking together and want to use their training budgets as a force for good.
We offer a choice of different formats, and can build in bespoke training and development elements too. Whichever you choose, we can promise you a fun, fast-paced experience that gives direct support to a community in need.
Cook & Connect is a virtual alternative to our in-kitchen events, bringing your team together online for laughs, learning and loads of food, wherever they are.
You’ll take part in a live, interactive session, suitable for everyone from cooking avoiders to expert home chefs, and based on a menu of your choice (Christmas options are available).
And as well as enjoying the shared experience of cooking, and ending up with a delicious meal to eat, you’ll be helping us fund our programme of events at our community kitchen.
Cook & Eat brings a group of colleagues together to bond, have fun together and learn new skills, by cooking and sharing a three-course meal.
You’ll plan and execute your cooking challenge together, working to a tight timeframe under our head chef, then enjoy the meal and discuss what the experience has brought you.
All the profits from your event will support the delivery of our community programme, which includes cooking classes, community meals and a surplus food pantry.
With Cook & Share, you'll create 150 tasty, nutritious ready-meals, which we will deliver to local residents, shelters or charities whose clients are in need of food and support.
You'll get the high-pressure experience of mass catering, and insights from working together in a different way, as well as making meals that will make a difference.
You'll also have the chance to mull over what the experience has taught you, individually and as a team, when you share a meal together at the end of the session.
Cook & Serve is a hyperlocal way to support a community, combining the heat of the kitchen and the pressure of hungry guests to sharpen up how you interact with each other.
Guided by our head chef, you’ll work as a team to cook up to 50 portions of food, which you’ll then serve up at a community meal.
You’ll end the session by coming together to talk through what you’ve learned and enjoy the meal you’ve created, finding out for yourselves whether your hard work hit the spot.
Having hosted hundreds of teambuilding events, we have a clear understanding of how to help teams work better together. So we can wrap a bespoke development session around your corporate cooking event.
This could include upfront learning sessions, observation of the team in action throughout the event, and facilitated feedback with reflection and action planning. It could be topic-based (such as communication, or leadership), or built around best-of-breed diagnostics and models (such as MBTI, Insights, Belbin or SDI).
We can provide an experienced facilitator, or co-deliver with your in-house team or external consultants. However you choose to apply it, it’s a sure-fire way to deliver high-level teambuilding as well as team bonding.
We’d like to keep you up to date with our plans for new classes, meals, events and other Cook for Good news. We won’t bombard you with emails and you can opt out at any time.
