What, where, when?

This year’s programme starts in June and runs until December.

Here’s what’s involved:

Bootcamp

A three-day immersive experience, including inspiration from the founders of Cook for Good, Fat Macy’s and The Dusty Knuckle, and from leading social entrepreneur Liam Black.

Pitch masterclass

Learn from Google’s experts how to refine your storytelling, demonstrate your impact and hold the room.

Pitch showcase

The chance to put your learnings into practice, pitching your ideas to a group of industry experts, and getting their feedback.

Business planning

Support from Deloitte consultants and other business experts, to test your assumptions and explore potential markets and products as you develop and refine a self-funding model.

121 coaching

Tailored advice on financial planning and leadership and the space to work through goals and challenges, to support your next steps and build your business plan.

Partner visits

In-person site visits to some of Cook for Good’s partners, including The Felix Project, to inspire and develop your plans.

Partnership building

Opportunities to connect with leading food service professionals from our partner network, who can help you access community spaces, and offer catering and fit-out support and wider corporate input.

Graduation and marketplace

A chance to showcase your achievements to Cook for Good’s wider business and supporter network, and celebrate and strengthen your relationships with your cohort.

Ongoing support

Our input doesn’t stop when the programme ends. Cook for Good will continue to provide 121 help if you need it, and our alumni network will be there for peer-to-peer support.
